Refunds & Cancellations
Stella Russotti understands that plans can change. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or credits may be issued.
Client Cancellations

My current House Sitting cancelation policy is set to "Two Weeks". Clients will receive a full refund if the booking is canceled by 12pm-noon two weeks before a stay begins. After that point, clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the total cost of the stay.

For Drop-In Visits and Walks my current cancelation policy is set to "Seven Days". Clients will receive a full refund if the booking is canceled by 12pm-noon seven days before the booking begins. After that point, clients are entitled to a 50% refund of the total cost of the booking.
Holiday & Peak Period Bookings

Holiday bookings require a non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50%).

Cancelations within seven days of a holiday booking are 100% non-refundable.
Early Returns
If clients return home earlier than planned, unused service days are non-refundable, as the slot was fully reserved.
Sitter Cancellations
If Stella must cancel due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance:

Clients will receive a full refund, or
-
The option to reschedule at no additional charge.
Service Issues
If a client is dissatisfied with services, Stella will make a good-faith effort to address issues, which may include:

A partial refund

A credit for future services

A follow-up visit
These adjustments are made at Stella’s discretion, depending on the situation.
